Unlocking Youth Potential for SRHR and Health System Reform in Bangladesh
Donor: Sida, Sweden
The project focuses on unlocking youth potential to reform the health and SRHR landscape in Bangladesh through a dynamic set of activities. Key components include the Youth Leadership Program and Venture Incubation Program, which offer training, mentorship, and innovation opportunities for young leaders. Youth Labs and hackathons drive creative digital solutions, while inclusive engagement initiatives ensure the participation of marginalized groups, including young women and youth with disabilities. The establishment of the Youth Leaders Resource Centre (YLRC) provides a hub for mentorship and networking. Through civic engagement, policy advocacy, and multimedia outreach, youth are empowered to influence systemic reforms. The project targets students, young professionals, policymakers, and communities, aiming to institutionalize youth participation and drive sustainable progress toward Universal Health Coverage (UHC) in Bangladesh. By fostering innovation, inclusion, and youth-led accountability, the project envisions a future where young people are central to building a resilient, equitable, and rights-based health system in Bangladesh
