Training on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) and Youth Friendly Services (YFS)

To bring in positive changes to weaker areas where it is most essential in respect of the quality of the Consortium's activities as well as the staff members, SRHR Consortium is being organized Training on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) and Youth Friendly Services (YFS). SRHR Consortium aimed to make its staff member more capacitate on SRHR issues to operate the YFS Centers effectively. This five days training is especially organized for the top and mid level staffs who wants to contribute in their organization as well as national development. To bring in positive changes to weaker areas where it is most essential in respect of the quality of the Consortium's activities as well as the staff members, SRHR Consortium is being organized Training on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) and Youth Friendly Services (YFS).

The objectives of the training are as follows:

• To know about Sexual and Reproductive Health clearly
• To know about most significant issues related to SRHR
• To know about Structure and Characteristics of YFS
• To know how Sexual and Reproductive Health Services can be made Youth Friendly

The training was facilitated by the Master Trainers of RHSTEP and BAPSA, who have the substantial experience and training skills in the field of SRHR & YFS. Different interesting methods were applied in these training sessions to make the topics more sensible, and participatory such as; Short lecture, Case analysis, Role play, Value clarification exercise, Storytelling, Video show and others. The content of the training is sexual and Reproductive health, Health Vulnerabilities of Young Adolescent, Homosexuality, Human Rights, Reproductive Rights, Gender and Gender Based Violence, Anatomy, RTI/STI/HIV/AIDS, Counseling at YFS.
