About Aparajeyo Tarunno

Aparajeyo Tarunno (Unlocking Youth Potential - UYP) is a youth-led initiative working to develop leadership, creativity, and advocacy skills among young people. The program focuses on increasing awareness about Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) and empowering youth to become change-makers in their communities.

Through schools, communities, youth networks, and innovation programs, young people are trained to advocate for health, gender equality, and social inclusion across Bangladesh.

On 13 November 2025, UYP Rajshahi established a 10-member Youth Health Council (YHC) to strengthen Universal Health Coverage (UHC) and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) awareness at the community level. The programme featured expert-led sessions on youth leadership, mental health, health rights, and skill development, followed by an oath-taking ceremony and commitment signing to empower youth engagement in local health advocacy.
