On 16 June 2026, RHSTEP Alor Dhara Pathshala – Aparajeyo Tarunno Gaibandha Center organized a program titled “Women Empowerment and Youth Disability Health”.
The session began with an introduction and welcome remarks delivered by Youth Advocate Pranta Babu Piyash. The welcome speech was given by Unit Manager Md. Enamul Haque of Alor Dhara Pathshala, who highlighted the objectives of the program.
Project Officer Mst. Asfia Khatun of the UYP project discussed the goals and activities of the Aparajeyo Tarunno initiative, focusing on inclusion, empowerment, and youth engagement.
Special guest Anjoli Devi, teacher and human rights activist, spoke about the importance of women’s empowerment and the role of youth in promoting equality and social justice. She emphasized that empowering women is essential for building a balanced and progressive society.
Another guest, Md. Idris Ali, Principal of Golden Citizen Special School for Persons with Disabilities, encouraged youth to actively support and include persons with disabilities in all aspects of society. He highlighted the importance of understanding their roles and ensuring equal opportunities.
In the closing remarks, Unit Manager Md. Enamul Haque encouraged all participants to engage in positive social work and contribute to building a healthy, inclusive society. He concluded the session by wishing good health and success to all participants.
