On 21 April 2026, Aparajeyo Tarunno (UYP), Alor Dhara Pathshala Sylhet, organized a “Social Awareness Session” at Tarapur Tea Garden in Sylhet.

The session was conducted by Mehedi Hasan, Project Officer of Aparajeyo Tarunno Sylhet, while Mentor Mahfuz Alam and Ayesha Akter jointly facilitated and moderated the program.

Local youth representatives actively supported the successful implementation of the session through community engagement and coordination activities. Guardians from the tea garden community also attended the program, creating an inclusive environment for discussion and awareness building.

The session aimed to strengthen social awareness, encourage community participation, and foster positive engagement among adolescents, youth, and guardians within the community.

The initiative reflected RHSTEP–UYP’s continued commitment to empowering communities through awareness, participation, and youth-led social development activities.
