Agreement Signed on Strengthening SRHR in Bangladesh

A new agreement has been signed between RHSTEP and BAPSA to launch the "Safe MR Project," aimed at strengthening Safe Menstrual Regulation and family planning services across Bangladesh.

The project, funded during the period of March 2024 to December 2025, seeks to reduce unsafe abortions, improve safe MR services, and ensure broader access to quality reproductive health rights.

Targeting rural and urban areas alike, the initiative will also focus on community-based awareness programs, training workshops for medical staff, and enhancing referral systems to ensure timely and safe services for women in need.
