RHSTEP signs deal on Reproductive Health Services
RHSTEP and BAPSA recently signed an agreement to extend a four-year project supported by the Swedish Embassy. The collaboration aims to improve maternal health services, enhance reproductive health education, and provide safer family planning options across Bangladesh.
The new phase of the project focuses on expanding rural outreach programs, offering free consultation services, training midwives, and promoting safe reproductive practices among underserved communities. Both RHSTEP and BAPSA emphasized the importance of empowering women with information and resources to make informed decisions about their health.
With a strong commitment from local health authorities and international partners, the initiative is expected to significantly reduce maternal mortality rates and increase accessibility to essential reproductive health services over the next few years.
