With the global theme “Together for health. Stand with science” and the national theme “স্বাস্থ্যসেবায় বিজ্ঞান, সুরক্ষিত সকল প্রাণ” (Science in Healthcare, Safe Lives for All), Aparajeyo Tarunno celebrated World Health Day 2026 at its Dhaka Centre.

To mark the occasion, a discussion meeting was organized on Tuesday afternoon, bringing together participants to highlight the importance of science-based healthcare and ensuring accessible health services for all.

During the session, Project Manager Mohammad Abu Raihan emphasized the significance of science in healthcare delivery and the importance of ensuring health services for every individual. He highlighted how evidence-based medical systems play a crucial role in improving public health outcomes.

Additionally, Senior Program Officer Akhtanin Khayer Tanin conducted a special session on Ayurvedic treatment, providing participants with insights into traditional healthcare approaches alongside modern medical understanding.

The program successfully created awareness about the importance of integrating scientific knowledge into healthcare systems and promoting health security for all.
