On 15 March 2026, a successful community-level session titled “Community-Based Social and Health Awareness Raising – Session 01” was held at Adarsha Master Para Community in Malibari Union, Gaibandha, under the initiative of RHSTEP’s Aparajeyo Tarunno (UYP) Project.

The session was facilitated by Youth Advocate Pranto Babu Piyas. At the beginning of the program, Mentor Jihanul Haque Joha provided an overview of RHSTEP and the UYP Project, explaining its goals and objectives to the participants.

In the second phase of the session, Project Officer Mst. Asfia Khatun delivered an important discussion on gender equality and women’s empowerment in society. She emphasized that equipping adolescents with accurate information is essential for building a progressive society and stated that youth awareness is the key driver of positive future change.

Following this, Paramedic Mst. Shahajadi Sultana Risha from RHSTEP Clinic provided scientific information regarding adolescent reproductive health and puberty-related awareness, helping participants better understand essential health topics.

In the final phase of the session, a group work activity was conducted with the support of Youth Advocate Ranjan Debnath, encouraging interactive learning and participation among attendees.

The session concluded with the collection of participant feedback and the distribution of gifts, marking the successful completion of the program and reinforcing RHSTEP-UYP’s commitment to community awareness, youth engagement, and health education.
