International Women’s Day 2026 was celebrated at the Aparajeyo Tarunno Banglamotor Office with the theme, “আজকের পদক্ষেপ, আগামীর ন্যায়বিচার, সুরক্ষিত নারী ও কন্যার অধিকার” (Today’s Actions for Tomorrow’s Justice and the Protection of Women’s and Girls’ Rights).

The program included discussions on the history and significance of International Women’s Day, along with an engaging panel discussion focused on women’s empowerment, justice, and social protection.

The panel discussion featured participation from Tasnim Nowshin Fariha, a faculty member of the University of Dhaka, who shared valuable insights on gender equality and women’s rights. Community members and Bondhuras from Korail and Miranjilla communities also actively participated in the discussion, making the event more interactive and impactful.

Through this initiative, Aparajeyo Tarunno reaffirmed its commitment to promoting awareness, inclusivity, and the empowerment of women and girls within the community.
