On 29 October 2025, Aparajeyo Tarunno (UYP Project), Mymensingh Centre, organized “Health Advocacy Campaign-01” at Robidas Para in Mymensingh city. The programme was conducted from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM with the objective of promoting Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) awareness and improving access to basic health services for the community.
Medical support was provided by Dr. Tania Nazneen Shova, Indoor Medical Officer at Swadesh Hospital, and Dr. Mehedi Haque, Oral and Dental Surgeon from Dhaka Dental College Hospital. The programme was supervised by Project Officer Ms. Resmina Haque and Youth Officer Mr. Sanjoy Chandra Roy.
At the beginning of the session, Youth Mentor Mithu Mondol introduced the objectives, importance, and implementation process of the SRHR-focused health campaign. A structured questionnaire survey was conducted among participants by Mentor Mithu Mondol, Farzana Al Tayeba, and volunteer Bonya Basfor to identify existing health issues, their causes, community expectations, and necessary awareness interventions.
Following the survey, participants received essential health services including measurement of weight, height, Body Mass Index (BMI), blood pressure, and glucose levels. The attending doctors provided necessary medical consultations based on the screening results.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from community members and volunteers, reflecting strong engagement and interest in health awareness activities.
The campaign concluded with closing remarks from Project Officer Ms. Resmina Haque, who appreciated the active participation and emphasized the importance of continued community-based health initiatives.
