On 31 October 2025, Unlocking Youth Potential (UYP) Dhaka Centre organized a “Theatre for SRHR” awareness programme in Korail, Dhaka, featuring the drama “Amra Bodle Jachhi,” performed in collaboration with Korail Theatre friends.
The drama highlighted key issues such as child marriage, adolescent physical and psychological changes, and broader Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) concerns. The performance was followed by an interactive question-and-answer session where audience members actively engaged with performers, and the Korail Theatre team responded to their questions to further enhance understanding.
Alongside the drama, the programme included group songs and recitations, creating a culturally engaging environment for awareness building.
The event was attended by UYP Project Manager Mr. Abu Raihan, Project Officers Mr. Shahinur Shahin, Mr. Hozayfa Sakwan, and Ms. Shiuli Akter, Graphic Designer Ms. Sayma Akter, and Youth Officer Ms. Zubaida Anjum Saba.
The programme successfully fostered community participation and dialogue, effectively strengthening awareness on SRHR, adolescent wellbeing, and social issues affecting young people.
