On 1 November 2025, Aparajeyo Tarunno (UYP Project) Rajshahi Centre organized a “Theatre for SRHR” programme at Lalon Shah Mukto Moncho in Rajshahi, featuring the street drama “Amra Bodle Jachhi.” The performance addressed key social and health issues through real-life storytelling, focusing on adolescent physical and psychological changes, child marriage, drug abuse, and overall health awareness.
The programme was chaired by Project Officer Ms. Dipti Sarkar. Youth Officer Mr. Md. Faridul Islam facilitated and hosted the entire session. Special guests included Ms. Jesmin Akter Poly, Mentor from Drama Association, Rajshahi University; Ms. Farzana Alo, a parent representative; and Mr. Enayet Karim, Editor of Uttara Pratidin.
The drama was staged with the collaboration of the Drama Association and attracted a large audience, including adolescents, children, and community members from different age groups. The performance effectively communicated awareness messages and encouraged reflection on critical social issues affecting young people.
In the closing remarks, Project Officer Ms. Dipti Sarkar emphasized the importance of such initiatives in promoting behavioral change and strengthening community awareness on SRHR-related issues. The programme successfully concluded with a strong impact on the audience, spreading messages of awareness and social responsibility.
