RHSTEP’s Aparajeyo Tarunno, Rangpur organized a Health Advocacy Campaign on 15 September 2026 at the Uttor Sheikhpara Orao Community to promote health awareness, cervical cancer prevention, and access to essential healthcare services.
The campaign was chaired by Animesh Roy, Project Officer, Aparajeyo Tarunno, Rangpur. The program featured awareness discussions on cervical cancer risks and prevention, available RHSTEP health services, and general health information, led by Dr. Masuma Faruk, Counselor Rafia Khandaker, and Md. Mizanur Rahman, Unit Manager, RHSTEP Rangpur Medical Centre. The session was moderated by Swarnali Acharya, Youth Officer.
To make the campaign engaging, the Aparajeyo Tarunno music team performed a health awareness song, while children and adolescents participated in awareness activities through animation and short-film screenings.
Two service booths were arranged for community members, providing free health counseling and consultation, blood pressure measurement, and blood group testing. The campaign created an accessible platform for community members to learn about preventive healthcare and available health services.
