RHSTEP’s Unlocking Youth Potential (UYP) – Aparajeyo Tarunno, Mymensingh organized “Networking Meeting-02: AI and Digital Security” on 3 September 2026 to strengthen youth digital skills, introduce the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI), and promote safe and responsible technology use.

The workshop was attended by Md. Ripon Mia, Head of TVET Institute, Mymensingh, and Mir Akram Uddin Ahmed, Director, District Information Office, Mymensingh. Md. Ripon Mia facilitated the session, introducing participants to the evolution and practical applications of AI in education, employment, business, creative work, communication, research, and everyday life.

Participants also discussed responsible AI use, including the importance of verifying AI-generated information, protecting personal and confidential data, and considering copyright and ethical issues. The session emphasized using AI as a supportive tool for enhancing human skills rather than as a replacement for human judgment.

To encourage hands-on learning, participants took part in an AI-based logo design competition, applying digital tools and their creativity to develop original designs. Three participants were awarded for their work, further encouraging interest in creative and productive uses of AI.

Through interactive discussions, practical activities, and a question-and-answer session, the workshop strengthened participants’ understanding of AI applications, digital security, responsible technology use, and emerging digital skills.
