On 23 November 2025, UYP Dhaka Centre successfully organized a network meeting aimed at strengthening adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) initiatives under the theme of challenges, achievements, and future opportunities for adolescent development.

The event was graced by distinguished guests, including Dr. Md. Manzur Hossain, Program Manager (A&RH), MCH Services Unit, DGFP; Dr. Md. Samsul Haq, OSD and former Program Manager, MNCAH–Adolescent and School Health, DGHS; and Ms. Jahan-E-Gulshan, Assistant Director, Department of Women Affairs.

Key participants also included Ms. Deepa Malakar, Senior Outreach Officer, Ms. Ferdousi Akhtar Rita, Senior Consultant, EQMS Consultants Ltd.; and Ms. Seema Dutta, President, Bangladesh Nari Mukti Kendra, along with mentors, youth advocates, media representatives, and partner organization delegates.

The session was chaired by UYP Project Manager Mr. Mohammad Abu Raihan, who presented an overview of project activities, progress, achievements, and field-level experiences through a PowerPoint presentation. The discussion highlighted project objectives, operational scope, and future directions.

Participants and stakeholders shared valuable insights, experiences, and recommendations on adolescent health, rights, safety, and empowerment, emphasizing the importance of stronger collaborative efforts to enhance program effectiveness. The event was facilitated by UYP Project Officer Mr. Hozayfa Shakwan.

The network meeting served as a meaningful platform for experience exchange, strengthening collaboration, and promoting collective efforts toward the holistic development of adolescents.
