Agreement on Reproductive Health Signed

Royal Swedish Embassy in Dhaka and Reproductive Health Services, Training and Education Program (RHSTEP) signed an agreement on “Sexual and reproductive health and rights program (SRHR)” today (30 May 2024) .

In the agreement signing occasion Deputy Head of Mission, Counselor Ms. Maria Britt-Ulla Stridsman of Embassy of Sweden and Quazi Suraiya Sultana, Executive Director, RHSTEP signed the agreement on their concerned organization’s behalf.

Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) consortium of Bangladesh comprises of two organizations, RHSTEP and Association for Prevention of Septic Abortion (BAPSA), Bangladesh will implement the project on “Strengthening of Safe MR and Family Planning services and Reduction of Unsafe Abortions for Improving SRHR Situation in Bangladesh (Safe MR Project)” during the March 2024 to December 2025 period.

In the agreement signing program Second Secretary and Controller, Development Cooperation Amada Weibull and Senior Program Officer/ Health Advisor Development Cooperation Section Dr. Mohammad Zahirul Islam of Embassy of Sweden, RHSTEP Deputy Executive Director Md Ashiqul Islam were also present among others.
