Workshop on “Improvement of Quality of Care by MR/PAC Service Providers (trained FWVs) to improving Reproductive Health”

RHSTEP organized a workshop titled “Improvement of Quality of Care for Service Providers (trained FWVS) of MR/PAC” on 22 October 2014 at Conferenc e Hall, Hotel City Inn , Khulna .

The objectives of the workshop were –

•  To take authorities knowledge what kind of problems face of Service providers to deliver health service.

The workshop was graced by the presence of Md. Nur Hossain Talukder, Additional Secretary, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and Director General, Directorate General of Family Planning as ‘Chief Guest’. The Chief guest emphasized on need for a positive attitude changes among service providers to improve quality of care that would contribute in reducing Maternal mortality and morbidity.

All guests in their speech appreciating training and Services of RHSTEP and requested to RHSTEP to extend its activities in all district level Hospitals.

There were some necessitate presented by the FWVs such as: MR Refresher training need for all service providers, RTI/STI Management training need ,MR follow up card need for all service centers, Pregnancy test kits need, Resource personnel need.

In the workshop were present more than 200 Participants including DD, ADCC, MO, UFPO, AFPO and FWVS from Khulna, Jessore and Narail districts, others officials from Khulna Division and journalist.

Quazi Suraiya Sultana, Executive Director, RHSTEP delivered the welcome speech and Vote of thanks

Mr. Md Rezaul Kabir, Principal, FWVTI, Khulna, facilitated the whole program. A colorful cultural program at the end enchanted the audience in the program.
